- Excess power is sent to the grid: If the solar panel system produces more electricity than is needed, the excess power can be sent to the grid and used by other homes and businesses in the area.
Solar panels are often installed on the roofs of homes and businesses and can be used to supplement or replace traditional grid-supplied electricity.
